Day at the Lake with Shepard Spinal Clinic
This event took place the 2nd week of August 2008 and was co-sponsored with the Bartow Business Association. These patients had suffered from either a brain or spinal cord injury and were in the final stages of their recovery. This event helped to re-introduce them to the outside and let them realize that they could still have fun. The patients enjoyed a pontoon boat ride courtesy of Two Daze Yacht Club member Captain Betsy Amos, Jet Ski rides, Fishing, and even Kayaking. The event was held at Holiday Harbor and Food was provided by the LAA and the Bartow Business Association. A special thanks to Eric Williams the owner of Holiday Harbor for the use of his facility, Rhonda Newton with Northwest Bank for the use of their Grill, Grady Clark with Bartow Business Association and Jeff Glover and Sean Nicholl with the Lake Allatoona Association. We can't wait for next year!!!!!!
